  9. x^2 + x^2 = x^2 + x^2
    x(x - x) = (x + x)(x - x)
    x = 2x
    1 = 2 ?'

  10. the reason the x^2 - x^2 = x^2 - x^2 gives a false solution of 1 = 2 is because in one of the first steps, he divided both sides by (x-x). x-x is always zero, so he divided both sides by zero in the problem, just in case you didn't catch that.

  11. The one where 1=2 is wrong because you divide by zero. Witch is possible with limits but you still end up with an inditerminate form, whitch you can use L'Hopital's rule, where you would end up with (2-2)/(1-1) witch still doesn't work. the limit would not exist. no matter what you cant do it.
